Welcome to Kindergarten!
Kindergarten classes have been learning about lines for the past few weeks. We first learned about Piet Mondrian, and how his lines are very straight. Then we moved on to learn about Wassily Kandinsky who has very silly lines. We practice moving our bodies like Mr. Mondrian and Mr. Kandinsky. (The students call them Pete and Wassily because their names are hard to remember) After that we made 'wassily' black lines on our papers. After the black paint dried, the students chose the colors they would like to use and painted the white leftover space.
